 “It is appointed for men to die once, and after this comes judgment” is a Bible verse from Hebrews 9:27. It appears in the New Testament, and is part of the Christian belief that people are judged by God after they die. 

Explanation

In the Bible, Hebrews 9:27 states that everyone is destined to die once and then face judgment. 

The judgment is based on a person's deeds while they were alive. 

People who have received Jesus as their savior from sin do not need to fear judgment. Instead, they will enter into a blessed fellowship with God for eternity. 

The Christian faith teaches that after death, people will be taken into the presence of God.
